Julie Chin

Julie Chin joined KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO in June 2006 as news director. Prior to KNX, Julie spent 12 years at legendary San Francisco station KGO, where she worked her way up the ranks and became assistant news director.

Julie is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. She was born in the City and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley. After she graduated from UC Berkeley, she worked and lived in San Francisco, before moving to Los Angeles.

When she’s not immersed in the news or tapping away at her Blackberry, Julie enjoys running, reading, and cooking. She loves a good run, the New York Times, a strong cup of coffee, and a kickin steak pommes frites.
