Guide To The Celebrate Good Taste Culinary Adventure

What do you get when you bring together an artsy beachside community and a food and wine festival in the off-season? A must-do road trip to Laguna Beach. The Celebrate Good Taste three-day culinary weekend from Friday, March 7 to Sunday March 9, showcases everything that visitors and SoCal residents love about Laguna Beach; food, wine and cliff side beaches and views that trick you into thinking your Mediterranean vacation arrived early.

From 5:30pm to 8:30pm, enjoy five food stations with a delicious menu prepared by Splashes Executive Chef David Fuñe which includes local mussels from Carlsbad Aquafarms, pork schnitzel and more. Beer and wine pairings are from Stone Brewing and Constellation Wines. $49 per person.

For a truly delicious experience, visit The Loft at The Montage Laguna Beach for a four-course prix fixe dinner created by Chef de Cuisine Casey Overton. A relaxing Sunday morning of champagne tasting and brunch with gospel music from Ava Dupree and her 5-piece band Voices in Praise awaits you at The Sawdust Art Festival. This is a popular event often sells out as well so make sure to call ahead. $50 a person. The event is from 11am to 1pm.

Also at the Sawdust Art Festival is the Sustain Local Art & Cuisine which features a three-course meal crafted by Three Seventy Common executive chef, Ryan Adams. Dinner is served on one-of-a-kind dining sets, created by Sawdust artists as well, which guests can take home after the event. $175/person
