For Josh.. I live in Redondo Beach, on the Esplanade. For the past three nights I have been able to see what look like reflection of Santa Barbara, Anacapa and Santa Cruz Islands. After sunset they look like cloud formations but with binoculars I can tell they are the islands. What anomaly causes this? They are over the horizon from here, I think.
