The absolute best day to visit Disneyland and or California Adventure, is a Tuesday or Wednesday. Be sure to get there 30 mins before opening. You’ll get great parking.
Crowd’s are typically at there lightest and you’ll enjoy all the big kid rides by 4pm. Children rides are always crowded. Remember to use FASTPass as much as possible. Have a great time.
I’ve been on Superbowl Sunday and it’s still crowded (the dads just periodically check their cell phones for an update on the game score). I can tell you that the WORST week is the week between Christmas and New Year’s — way too crowded and hard to actually move. Or if Miley Cyrus wants to have a private party there — then cordon off no access sections and kick you out early (yes, actually happened to us!). Which was really too bad because my daughter LOVED Miley…oh well.

I agree with the others. Going on Superbowl day would be the best since the majority of people would be at home watching the game or prepping for the parties.
Yep – Superbowl day is your best bet. I’ve heard of this on several podcasts and radio talk shows in which they interview people who had worked there. The weather is cool, too, so no overheating and excessive dehydration.
In the fall, or winter time when it had a good cool weather but during rain or holidays (in California) on weekdays when there is no lines, heat strokes, sunburn, or sun blimishes. In the Summer there are too many tourists, California residents, and very long lines long about 2 to 4 hours waiting for only one ride! I went to Disney Land once on a Monday 7:00 AM. in the winter time, there was no tourism, not too many people, and no lines, bit it there were a line, it was no more than 20 minutes! We were able to go on all the rides, and our favorite ride several times! Also, it is very good to go on your birthday as long as it is not in the Summer or Spring.

You won’t like this answer, but in the week after a major quake. Even the tourists don’t show up. Ghost town

On your birthday; then it is free if your are a Southern California resident.
Be the first one in the gate & the last one to leave, and just about anytime would be fine!

The best day to go is the day we vote or on superbowl. It’s completely empty!
The best day to visit Disneyland is on Christmas day! The decorations are beautiful and it’s a fun gift for everyone.
