Why does Jackie Johnson\'s \'right now\' temp chart have Temescal located where Temecula should be located, Temescal is located in NoCal not SoCal!
I watch her weather intently, or rather her intently, but she has Temescal in the wrong place. Probably no one else looks at the map!!
They have a weird nature.

There is also a Temescal Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains above the Palisades area. But also I’d like to know why KCBS forecasters read off the temps in Palm Springs when the station has not been carried on cable systems there for three years.
True. Temescal is old Oakland neighborhood. And, we have Temescal, the the old stagecoach stop between Corona and Lake Elsinore. I think it’s known now as Temescal Canyon. For weather map purposes, omitting the Canyon, provides an easier map to view.
I am on the Temescal Valley Heritage Foundation. It is historically correct to call it Temescal Valley between Weirick and Lake Street. North of Weirick is Temescal Canyon (Corona). There are freeway markers at Weirick and Lake street on the I-15.
We are in the unincorporated area of Riverside and are always called Corona. So to create our identity we call ourselves Temescal Valley. Thanks Josh for putting us on the map. Love it!
