Suspect Barricaded In Garden Grove Police Vehicle With Access To Officer's AR-15, Shots Fired

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA) — A suspect who shot at police in Garden Grove was barricaded inside a police vehicle with access to an officer's AR-15, CBS2/KCAL9 confirmed Tuesday night.

Garden Grove police were serving a warrant at 13th and Brookhurst Blvd. around 10 p.m. when the scene unfolded.

The suspect was handcuffed and placed in the patrol vehicle, where he gained access to the weapon.

The keys to the vehicle were also inside.
