LONG BEACH (CBSLA) — A grand reopening Saturday of the busiest cruise terminal in North America.
The Long Beach Cruise Terminal celebrated its multi-million dollar renovation and expansion with the arrival of the Carnival Splendor.
Before Saturday, the cruise line could only use part of the dome that housed the famous Spruce Goose seaplane. Now Carnival can use all of the space.
The ship boards seven cruises a day to Mexico and longer voyages to Alaska and Hawaii.
