Friday, February 9
Rolling Robots
Glendale

You'd be hard-pressed to find a kid that would be anything less than ecstatic to get their hands on a robot. Rolling Robots not only allows kids to play with robots, they get to build them as well. Meanwhile the kids are actually learning about concepts like math, science, and engineering, but we can keep that our secret.

Watch Classic Cartoons
El Captain Theatre
Hollywood, CA

Take the kids to one of the Southland's best places for a feature film. The El Captain Theatre will be screening the family-friendly romance of Lady & The Tramp. As with all of the specialty screenings, the theatre will offer entertainment prior to the show as guests can take in the musical talents of accordionist Ed Vodika.

Saturday, February 10

Third Street Promenade
Santa Monica

The promenade in Santa Monica is already a lively place to go for a stroll but this weekend the kids will be able to be especially hands-on during the Love fest. Happening on select Sundays until the summer months, the zoo is leading 90-minute guided tours. Choosing a different theme each month, the tour will narrow the focus to certain residents at the zoo and will give families the ability to explore together.

Adventure City
Anaheim

While there is no shortage of theme parks in Southern California, few offer the kind of bang for your buck the way Adventure City does. A scaled down version of the bigger parks in the area, Adventure City offers about a dozen different rides and attractions s well as amenities like the petting zoo and rock climbing wall. Geared towards younger kids, the adults and even the bratty teenagers will have a blast.
