Car Plummets 200 Feet Below Malibu Canyon Road

MALIBU (CBSLA) — Emergency crews are on the scene after a car plummeted 200 feet below a Malibu cliffside today.

The car, while plunged from Malibu Canyon Rd. around 3:30 p.m., landed on its roof.

The victim was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed by first-responders.

He was airlifted to a trauma center.

Details on his condition were not immediately available.
