CHP: Pursuit Turns Into 'Possible Hostage Situation' In Pasadena
PASADENA (CBSLA) — The pursuit of a suspect wanted on a weapons charge turned into a possible hostage situation in Pasadena Saturday night, according to CHP.
Police attempted to pull over the driver on a weapons charge at White Oak and Saticoy in Reseda at approximately 10 p.m.
The suspect is described as a male adult. Police believe he could be armed.
The vehicle, a black Honda Accord with paper plates, was passing traffic on the 210 and 405 freeways before moving to surface streets.
The driver stopped on eastbound Lincoln under the 210 Freeway. The vehicle was disabled, according to authorities.
Multiple people are believed to be inside the car.
