DIAMOND BAR (CBSLA) — Authorities say a 29-year-old man was killed and a baby is in critical condition following a horrific crash on the 60 Freeway around 3 a.m. Sunday.

The crash took place  on the eastbound lanes of the thoroughfare in Diamond Bar, and resulted in one death.

Four others were hurt.

Authorities said John Swick has been arrested for driving at an unsafe speed causing the accident.

CBS2's Greg Mills reported from the scene.

He said the victims were riding in a 2001 Chevy Impala which flipped over after it was hit by Swick's 2013 Chevy Silverado.
