CARSON CITY, Nevada (CBSLA.com) — OJ Simpson could walk out of prison in just a few months.

A Nevada parole board will hear arguments tomorrow about whether or not the former football star should be released.

There is a circus-like environment growing in Carson City where the parole hearing will be held.

Tomorrow morning, four members of the Nevada Board of Parole will convene to consider Simpson’s fate.

The 70-year-old is eligible for parole after serving the mandatory nine years of a 33-year-sentence for armed robbery.

The robbery involved Simpson memorabilia he said was rightfully his.

Tomorrow, the state commissioners will question Simpson via video conference.

He’s about 100 miles north of Carson City at the Lovelock Correctional Center.

Neither prosecutors nor victims of the crimes for which Simpson was convicted in 2008 are expected to oppose his parole.

The board says he’ll be treated just like any other parolee.

Bruce Fromong testified against Simpson in the trail that ended with Simpson’s conviction and though he was a victim, he told “Inside Edition” it’s time for Simpson to be free.

“The old saying ‘done his time,’ ” said Fromong.

Something else to keep in mind: the board is expected to announce its decision on the same day as the hearing because of all the media attention. Normally it takes weeks.

Most legal experts predict Simpson will be granted parole, which means he could walk out of prison as early as October 1st.

If not, he could remain in prison for the next few years.

But either way, a decision is expected in Carson City tomorrow.
