LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — We can't think of a better day to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than Sunday, which is expected to be another warm and humid day.

And as it turns out, several businesses are expected to offer freebies in celebration!

McDonald's says it will be offering customers who download its app a free vanilla cone on Sunday only.

The deal will only be available at participating U.S. locations.

Carvel is also offering a special for the holiday. The company says customers who buy one cup or cone will get a second free on Sunday. The deal is available for soft ice cream only.

Baskin-Robbins is also offering deals in celebration of National Ice Cream Month. More information is available by downloading their app.
