Good Samaritan Saves Children From Road Rage Wreck

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Two kids were trapped in a smashed-up van Wednesday. P

olice said 26-year-old Brandon Pauw slammed into the family's van after Pauw lost control, speeding away from a road rage fit nearby.

24 Hour Fitness manager Amy Greco ran from the gym to help. She broke the back window to get to the kids.

"Just to see three kids staring at me scared and scrambled of course and they reached out and I pulled them out one by one," said Greco.

Her arm was cut up rescuing the children, including a baby boy, crying as it was handed to another Good Samaritan.

For someone like Greco, who loves and works with kids, seeing them in the van scared was heartbreaking.

"If those kids had been any form of hurt like the front parents were, I would've just been ruined," she said.

The family is expected to recover.

Pauw was arrested for DUI, assault with a deadly weapon and felony hit and run.
