Man Shot Dead In Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) – Deputies investigated a shooting Tuesday that left a man dead at a Santa Clarita park.

At about 5 a.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies responded to Begonias Lane Park in the 14900 block of Begonias Lane where they found a Hispanic man dead from gunshot wounds.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identity of the victim were not disclosed.

No suspect information was released. Homicide detectives are investigating.
