Fight Breaks Out In Line For Louis Vuitton Pop-Up Shop

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An unruly crowd eagerly awaiting the opening of a Supreme Louis Vuitton pop-up shop in downtown LA drew the presence of LAPD officers early Friday morning.

A crowd of up to 500 people were lined up at East 2nd Street and South Garey Street as early as 4 a.m. for the Los Angeles release of a Louis Vuitton-Supreme fashion collaboration, which was also set to be released in Miami.

The pop-up shop's location was kept secret, but clues were revealed on Instagram Thursday night.

"There was really no information on what time they would allow us to get in line," customer Lee Esten said. "The line wasn't organized, so people would just run to line up multiple times, and it was chaos."

A large fight may have prompted the event's organizers and security team to call in the LAPD.

The pop-up shop was scheduled to open at 10 a.m. and has reportedly been canceled.
