3 Killed In Head-On PCH Wreck

POINT MUGU (CBSLA.com) – Three people were killed and two were injured in a head-on crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura County Wednesday night.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 8:20 p.m. on the PCH at Point Mugu Rock, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene. They were trapped inside their vehicles. Two people were taken to hospitals. One had critical injuries and the second had moderate injuries.

No names were released. The circumstances of the crash and the names of the victims were not immediately released.

The PCH was shut down in both directions for several hours.
