VICTORVILLE (CBSLA.com) — A tornado touched down Sunday in the Victorville-Apple Valley area over the 15 Freeway.

The National Weather Service reported the landspout type of tornado just before 2 p.m. No damage was reported.

A landspout tornando is created by thunderstorm activity. Pea-sized hail was also associated with this storm.
