California Man Shot In The Back While Setting Up For Daughter's Birthday At Park
EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — A man is fighting for his life after authorities say he was shot in the back at a Southern California park.
The incident unfolded at Baldwin Avenue Mini Park in the 3700 block of Baldwin Avenue on Saturday.
It was there that police say the man was shot in the back as he was setting up for his daughter's birthday party.
The man was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he remained hospitalized.
No further information was available.
