CANYON COUNTRY (CBSLA.com) — A man suspected of being armed with a gun has surrendered after authorities say he held them at bay for hours Sunday.

The man, according to deputies, was holed up at a home in the 15000 block of Poppy Meadow Street.

The incident unfolded around 1 a.m., and ended around 6:45 a.m. when the man surrendered peacefully.

No one was hurt.
