EAST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three people were hospitalized Friday after a hit-and-run driver crashed into a building in East Los Angeles.

The crash was reported just after 3:30 a.m. near Whittier and Vancouver.

Paramedics transported two people from the vehicle to a hospital.

Police said the driver of the vehicle was a hit-and-run suspect from a nearby accident.

A victim from that crash was also taken to a hospital.

The cause of both crashes remain under investigation.
