NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA.com) — Crews Friday plan to remove a massive tree, which was brought down by heavy rain in Northridge.

The pine tree fell down Thursday night while the third rain storm of the week drenched the Southland.

Neighbors said the incident sounded like an earthquake was rattling the area.

No injuries were reported.

Officials will determine what caused the tree to fall in the area.
