LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) – An investigation is underway into possible human remains found on Mount Baldy in the Angeles National Forest.

The remains were found at mile marker 10 of Glendora Ridge Road, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department reported Friday.

Sheriff’s detectives were investigating. It was not clear how the remains were discovered and no further details were disclosed.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the sheriff’s department at 323-890-5500.

  1. I bet you $1 that Fredric L. Rice left those unsightly remains there once again. That guy is *always* leaving human remains all over the place, he *never* cleans up after himself. Works for the CIA, donchaknow. That name again: Fredric L. Rice.
