Man Steals Truck, Guns In Fullerton Crime Spree

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) – Police are looking for a man suspected of stealing a truck and gun safe early Saturday morning in a residential neighborhood in Fullerton.

Fullerton police report that the thefts took place at approximately 5:30 a.m. According to police, the suspect initially tried to break into several vehicles in the 3000 block of Greenview Place.

Police learned a garage was broken into in the 2700 block of Medford Place and a gun safe was stolen which contained several firearms. A truck was also stolen from outside a home in the same block. Items that were in the back of that stolen truck were later found near the home.

Investigators believe the same man is responsible for all three crimes.

Surveillance video of the suspect has been released. He is described as white, 30 to 40 years of age with a goatee. At the time of the burglaries he was wearing a white or light colored shirt, a light-colored baseball style hat, black pants and black shoes.
