Public's Help Sought To Find Suspect Who Fatally Stabbed 21-Year-Old Man In Topanga Area

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)   —   Homicide detectives with the LAPD's West Valley division are hoping the public can lead them to the suspect wanted for the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old man.

On Tuesday, around 8:30 p.m., Topanga Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an "assault with a deadly weapon" call from a local hospital.

When officers arrived, they learned the victim, a Latino, was dropped off at the emergency room with a stab wound. Once inside the ER, the victim died from his injury.

Detectives said the victim was dropped off by potential witnesses in the case. The potential witnesses left the hospital without making a statement to the officers or detectives.

If you have any knowledge about this incident, please call Los Angeles Police Department Detective John Doerbecker (818) 374-1943.
