#GoodNewsLA Campaign Aims To Spread Kindness Among Strangers

SILVER LAKE (CBSLA.com) — ‘Tis the season for random acts of kindness.

If you live in the Silver Lake area, your day may soon become a little brighter thanks to the anonymous creators of #goodnewsLA — a rising movement that aims to bring about positive energy to the community at a time when public acts of hatred are on the rise.

The concept behind the campaign is simple: every day, the creators write dozens of inspirational letters and leave them underneath windshield wipers of cars parked around Los Angeles County.

Their sole intention is to bring about a smile to a stranger’s face.

The creators behind #goodnewsLA say they plan to spread cheer throughout the upcoming year.
