Boy's Future As Baseball Fan Is Riding On Dodgers-Cubs Series

MONROVIA (CBSLA.com) — For one Monrovia family, which team is better is still a tie.

"Go Dodgers, all my life," mom Alex Worozaken said.

"Diehard Chicago Cubs fan, been a fan all my life," dad Chad Worozaken says.

Though their newfound rivalry is about to determine 9-month-old Collin's future.

They've officially made a bet.

"The result of the bet is whoever wins the NLCS, that we are going to make him that fan," Alex said.

"I moved out here for her, so I'm going to hold that to her," Chad said.

The Chicago Cub will meet the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday evening for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, which is tied at 1-1.

They may still buy last-minute tickets to the sold-out game.

Resale tickets on sites like Stub-Hub and Tickets For Less start about $85. And they go all the way up into the thousands for the Dugout Club.

Richard Moreno says the top deck will have to do for him, but he and his friends wouldn't miss it.

Even those who have to skip work for the 5 p.m. game.

And longtime fans say they'll avoid parking like the plague, which is always recommended.

"Usually go from Union Station and take the Dodger Express," Moreno said.

So, which shade of blue will Collin wear after this series? Only time will tell.

"These are two great ball clubs, and at the end of the day, I'm excited one of them will represent the National League in the World Series," said Chad.

The starts officially at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, and gates at Dodger Stadium open at 2:08 p.m.

And if you do want to park at the stadium, it costs $20 in advance or $30 at the gate.
