Vice President Joe Biden To Speak At Fundraiser In Southern California

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Vice President Joe Biden will visit Los Angeles Thursday to speak at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser.

According to the White House, Biden will travel to the Southland after speaking in Las Vegas at a Hillary Clinton campaign event.

He is scheduled to speak at 7:15 p.m. at a Southland DCCC fundraiser at an undisclosed private residence.

The following traffic restrictions will be implemented to accommodate the vice presidential motorcade:

— Pershing Drive between Westchester Parkway and Imperial Highway from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

— Imperial Highway between Vista Del Mar and North Sepulveda Boulevard from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

— Wilshire Bouelvard between South Sepulveda Boulevard and Malcolm Avenue from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

— Lindbrook and Hilgard avenues between Westwood Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

— Hilgard and Lindbrook avenues between Le Conte Avenue and Westwood Boulevard from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

— Wilshire Boulevard between Malcolm Avenue and South Barrington Avenue from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

— San Vicente Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and 21st Street from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

— San Vicente Boulevard between 21st Street and Wilshire Boulevard from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

— Wilshire Boulevard between South Barrington and Malcolm avenues from 8:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

— Lindbrook Drive and Hilgard Avenue between Westwood Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue from 8:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

The following traffic restrictions have been issued from 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday:

— Hilgard and Lindbrook avenues between Le Conte Avenue and Westwood Boulevard

— Wilshire Boulevard between Malcolm Avenue and South Sepulveda Boulevard

— Culver Boulevard between CA-90 West Freeway and Vista Del Mar

— Pershing Drive between Culver Boulevard and Imperial Highway

Clinton is also scheduled to visit Los Angeles Thursday, attending a Beverly Hills fundraiser hosted by Casey Wasserman, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Haim Saban.

Biden is not expected to attend the Clinton fundraiser in Los Angeles, which benefits the Hillary Victory Fund.
