Roberts Says Julio Urias Will Get Game 4 Start For Dodgers + Updated NLDS Schedule
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told the media that rookie pitcher Julio Urias will indeed get the start for Game 4 of the NLDS vs the Nationals (if the game is necessary, of course).
Game 2 of the NLDS was rained out on Saturday -- and rescheduled for 10:08 a.m. PT on Sunday.
Rich Hill will start on Sunday, with Kenta Maeda starting Game 3 at Dodger Stadium on Monday.
The rain delay means there is no travel day for two teams.
Game 2, Sun, 10:08 am PT, Hill v Roark
Game 3: Mon, TBD, Maeda v Gonzalez
Game 4: Tues, 2:05 pm, Urias v TBD— CBS Los Angeles (@CBSLA) October 8, 2016
Julio Urias will start Game 4, Dave Roberts says. Unless the Dodgers are down 1-2, he does not want to use Clayton Kershaw on short rest.

Dave Roberts said Clayton Kershaw did his normal post-start routine. "Talking to the training staff, the back is not an issue," he said.

"There's no absolutes," Dave Roberts says, "but right now I see Julio making that start" even if Dodgers trail in the series.

#Dodgers Dave Roberts: "Any thought is us having Clayton come back on short rest is probably nixed"

Game 2 postponement means #Dodgers would have to start Kershaw in short rest on Game 4 and Hill on short rest in Game 5, if they choose.
