Video Captures Woman Accused Of Setting Fire To Car She Thought Belonged To Her Ex-Boyfriend, Police Say

CLEARWATER, Fla. (CBSLA.com) — A woman who police allege tried to burn her ex-boyfriend's car is accused of instead setting fire to another person's car.

Cameras caught it all on video in Clearwater, Florida last week, but police didn't track down the suspect until Saturday.

Police say the 19-year-old woman told them she thought the vehicle was her ex-boyfriend's, but she was wrong.

The woman has since been charged with second-degree arson, authorities said.
