LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Dodgers have recalled outfielder Yasiel Puig from Triple-A Oklahoma City, along with C Austin Barnes and RP Josh Fields.

The team also reinstated pitchers Louis Coleman and Josh Ravin from the 15-day DL.

Puig posted a .358/.422/.605 slashline in 24 games with Oklahoma City, going 29-for-81 with five home runs and 14 RBI, after he was optioned on Aug. 2.

He appeared in 81 games with Los Angeles this year, batting .260 with seven home runs and 34 RBI in his fourth big-league season.

Puig is in the starting lineup for Friday’s game against the Padres, batting fifth and playing right field.

Before being recalled, the Dodgers briefly placed Puig on trade waivers.

The team that claimed him has been identified as the Brewers, and the trade talks, allegedly involving outfielder Ryan Braun, eventually collapsed.
