Burglars Steal 2 Safes, Jewelry From Home In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Friday to identify three burglary suspects who targeted a home in Los Angeles.

Around 6:20 p.m. on July 20, officers responded to a home located in the 15400 block of Deerhorn Road for report of a burglary.

Upon their arrival, authorities learned the suspects had made their way into the victim's home by smashing in a sliding back door.

The suspects proceeded to take the victim's jewelry, money, clothing and two safes.

They fled from the area in a gray Hyundai Santa-Fe.

Detectives said the suspects are African American men who are believed to be between the ages of 25 to 30 years old.

One of the men stands between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 tall, and weighs 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a black jacket, dark sweat pants and black shoes.

The second suspect stands between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 tall, and weighs around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark sweat pants and dark shoes.

The last suspect stands around 5-foot-8 tall and weighs between 170 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark shorts and dark shoes.

The investigation is ongoing.
