2 Wanted In Menifee Kidnapping Case

MENIFEE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Riverside County are looking for two suspects in a kidnapping case that's already netted three arrests.

The first arrest was made August 9, when Murrieta police pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Antelope Road and Keller Road, after reports of a kidnapping. Police found the kidnap victim inside the vehicle, along with suspect Jesse Aaron, 32, of Fallbrook. Aaron was arrested and booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on charges of kidnapping and false imprisonment. Aaron is being held on $145,000 bond. His next court appearance is Tuesday at the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center, according to online Riverside County inmate records.

Police served a search warrant at a house in Fallbrook August 19 in connection with the case. Kelly Crossmen, 27, was arrested at the home. Jedediah Shaw, 31, fled and was arrested in a backyard a short time later, according to police. Crossmen and Shaw were booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on charges of kidnapping and drug sales.

The Riverside County District Attorney's Office has issued arrest warrants for two more suspects in the kidnapping case. Nathan Lopez, 31, of Fallbrook, and Jacqueline Smith-Perez, 31, of Menifee, are suspected of involvement in the crime.

Police warn anyone who sees Lopez or Smith-Perez not to approach either suspect, and to call 911.
