Shooting At Party Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Critically Injured
FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — Deputies responded to a call about a disturbance at a party in Fontana just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday and found two people wounded by gunfire.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital where they underwent surgery.
The first victim was pronounced dead at 6:45 a.m. The second victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Sheriff's Homicide Investigators responded to conduct the investigation.
Homicide Investigators learned that a fight erupted during the party at a location on 9th Street.
It was unclear if the victims were armed or part of the fight.
The suspect(s) is at large.
