Kristen Bell Shares Photos Of $142 Courthouse Wedding To Dax Shepard
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Actors Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard defied most modern traditions – to say nothing of Hollywood tradition -- with a courthouse wedding to the tune of $142 – total.
The "Bad Moms" actress spoke extensively with CBS This Morning's Tracy Smith and divulged the details of the couple's 2013 wedding. She also shared photos of the ceremony for the first time.
"We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse and it was still one of the best days of my life," Bell said.
Shepard wore a black tux, while Bell wore a black dress with a chunky necklace. The couple has two children – Lincoln, 3, and Delta, 18 months.
The cost of their wedding is in stark contrast to the average cost of a wedding in the United States – a hefty $26,645. And most Hollywood weddings start at about $1 million and go all the way up to $10 million, which is the cost of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' wedding.
"Bad Moms" opens Friday.
