Headed To Hollywood? Take The Subway Or Stay Away

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — If you're going into Hollywood Saturday, take public transit or bring plenty of patience.

Traffic will be jammed up, because of three big events, including the "Ghostbusters" premiere at the TLC Chinese Theatre.

The premiere is at 5 p.m., followed by a sold-out show by Aloe Blacc at the Ford Amphitheatre and a "Star Trek" musical performance at the Hollywood Bowl.

Hollywood Boulevard is closed between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue until 1 a.m. Sunday.

Los Angeles Department of Transportation officers will be directing traffic in the area.

Warning signs will also be posted on the Hollywood Freeway.
