2 Workers Injured On Film Set In Downtown LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities said two film workers were injured Friday when a large industrial-size ventilation fan fell off the back of a  truck and landed on them.

The accident occurred around 8:40 p.m. on a set at Seventh and Spring streets, officials said.

Both workers were taken to hospitals by the LA City Fire Department, Mundel reported.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

KCAL9's Peter Daut said one of the men suffered a broken leg, the other man suffered serious trauma.

Daut reports the film crew was working on "Good Girls Revolt," a 60-s era TV show for Amazon Prime set in the world of magazine publishing. Jim Belushi stars in the series. It was unclear if Belushi or if any other cast members were present at the time of the accident.
