Do You Have Lottery Fever? -- $415M (Mega Millions), $243M (Powerball) Up For Grabs

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  Need a little extra cash to take on a summer vacation?

If you win the current Mega Millions jackpot -- $415 million and likely to climb -- you could take all your friends, too.

First class.

The $415 million jackpot is now the third highest in the game's history.

The $222 million up for grabs in Wednesday's Powerball wasn't exactly chump change either. No one matched all six numbers in that draw either -- the Saturday jackpot is now $243 million, also likely to climb. (The winning numbers Wednesday were 23, 29, 37, 60, 64. The Powerball was 6)

The Mega Millions jackpot has rolled over a whopping 31 times since the jackpot reset to $15 million on March 12, 2016.

No one ticket matched all six numbers Tuesday evening. The numbers drawn were 15, 17, 20, 35, 55 and the Mega was 7.

The last winner -- $157 million -- was sold to a Seattle man in March.

The next Mega Millions  draw is Friday evening. Tickets are $1.

The biggest Mega Millions jackpot was $656 million. Three ticket holders (Kansas, Maryland, Illinois) split that sum in 2012. Two ticket holders (California and Georgia) split $648 million in 2013.

Three Powerball ticket holders split the record $1.586 billion jackpot in  January, including one ticket purchased in Chino Hills, California. Powerball tickets are $2.

With $658 million available in both games (don't spend it all in one place!) it would do lottery players a disservice to leave out that Saturday's SuperLotto Plus jackpot is up to $13 million.
