2 Deputies Reportedly Wounded After Confronting Suspect In Bellflower
BELLFLOWER (CBSLA.com) — Two deputies were reportedly wounded Thursday evening in a shooting involving a confrontation with a suspect in Bellflower.
The shooting took place in the area of Lakewood and Alondra, authorities said.
The extent of the deputies' wounds were unknown, but Sky2's Stu Mundel reported "one deputy is in surgery and one is headed into surgery."
It is also unclear if a suspect was wounded in the confrontation or what the suspect was originally wanted for -- or even if there was more than one suspect.
At least one suspect is reportedly at-large.
