Orlando Nightclub Mass Shooting Coverage

Brenda McCool with ties to the Southern California was the mother of 11 children. She was reportedly dancing with one of her sons, who is gay, when the gunman opened fire.

Her friend, Kendra Kory, told the Victorville Daily Press that McCool lived in the High Desert for years and was a two-time cancer survivor.

The gofundme page for the victims' families has raised at least $2.8 million in just one day, which is reportedly the most successful on the site ever.
