Johnny Manziel Served Court Papers While Partying In LA

By Trevor Peele

When you have the task of serving papers to Johnny Manziel you have a good idea of where to find him — somewhere where there's a party.

The 23-year-old ex-NFL player was handed legal papers outside of a Los Angeles Club and the paparazzi caught it all.

"Hey Johnny, you've been served, man," said the process server. In which Manziel replied, "Thank you, bro, I appreciate it," before picking the envelope up off the ground.

The lawsuit comes after Manziel rented a $4.5 million mansion back in April and allegedly racked up $30,000 in damages.

Nicholas Goodwin, the real estate broker who rented the house to Manziel, originally threatened to sue if he was not compensated for the damages.  Goodwin is reportedly asking for $40,000 in damages that include: stains on the carpet from wine and cigarettes, a broken bathroom door and a shattered glass table. Included in the trashed mansion, alcohol and drugs were left behind.

From the video captured by TMZ, Manziel didn't look too worried about his legal issues, as he hopped in his Rolls-Royce and made his way to another nightclub.
