Man Exposes Himself In Moorpark High School Girls Locker Room

MOORPARK (CBSLA.com) — Police hope security video will help them catch a man who exposed himself at Moorpark High School twice last week.

The footage shows a man with a beard, wearing a T-shirt and shorts sneaking into the girls locker room on May 11 and 12.

He took off all his clothes and stood in the back of the locker room, police said. When students noticed him, they immediately left the room and reported the incidents.

Parent Sumetra Upadhye said: "Both my sons are in the school, and they actually heard the girls screaming."

Freshman Alexander Sliva said students have been talking about it ever since, hoping the suspect will get caught soon.

"Thinking about like how creepy he is, what his motives. I hope they find him ASAP," Sliva said.

His mom said it may be time for more security on campus. "Just keeping it more of a lock-down situation. Unfortunately, we're in different times now," Cybele Sliva said.

The girls locker room is locked after school. But the principal said during school, girls in P.E. class like to prop the door open with a weight.

The man is 18 to 25 years old and 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall. He was caught on camera getting into a blue or green Nissan Altima.

He didn't physically hurt anyone. But police worry he will if they don't catch him soon.

The school district said from now on, coaches or teachers will be inside the locker room until all the students leave.
