Car Hits Fire Hydrant, Causes Mud Flow In Studio City

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A vehicle struck a fire hydrant Friday causing a muddy mess in Studio City.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, water began spewing out of the hydrant shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

The water subsequently caused a mud flow to occur in the area, police said.

Coldwater Canyon Avenue will remain closed between Mulholland Drive and Ventura Boulevard until further notice.
