Anaheim Angels Troll St. Louis Fans With Rams Billboard Behind Home Plate

Anaheim (CBSLA.com) - St. Louis Cardinal fans who tuned in Wednesday night to watch their team play the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim were confronted with an ad right behind home plate promoting Los Angeles's newest sports team: the Rams.

The Rams - who left St. Louis to move to L.A. in January - still have some fans struggling to cope with the idea that they no longer have a football team.

After struggling as of late, the Cardinals seemed to be turning their season around after winning their last two games.

But when their fans tuned into watch their team try to get yet another win, they were smacked in the face with a reminder they no longer can call the Rams their own.

There has been no confirmation as to whether the ad was placed there purposefully, but it's safe to say the Angels are in charge of which and when ads run at their stadium.

Regardless if it was intentional or not, the ad made social media go up in a frenzy.
