Powerful Winds Knock Over Giant KFC Bucket In Long Beach
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Crews Tuesday worked to repair a giant Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket that toppled over in Long Beach.
The iconic KFC bucket came crashing down around 5:00 p.m. Monday next to the drive-thru entrance. No injuries were reported.
Crews, however, warned customers to avoid the area due to downed electrical wires.
Firefighters said strong wind gusts caused the sign to fall off of its mount.
The restaurant will remain open for business.
