VIDEO: Target Manager Invites Male Customer To Use Women's Bathroom

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Florida man says he was invited by a manager at Target to use the women's restroom under the store's new bathroom policy.

A video posted to YouTube by user Andy Park alleges that an unidentified manager at the Bay Pines Target in St. Petersburg confirmed the policy during a recent visit to the store.

Park, who cannot be seen in the video, is heard asking a manager named "Gerard" if it was true that he would be "allowed to use the women's room."

"That's correct," the store employee is heard replying.

"If any of the women have a problem, you'll let them know?" Park asked.

"Yeah, they can come and we'll speak to them," the employee replied.

The video was posted days after Target announced a policy it says is aimed at creating a more "inclusive experience" by allowing "transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity."
