School Principal Gets Paul McCartney's Autograph Tattooed On Her Back

FULLERTON (CBSLA.com) — A day after being invited onstage during a Paul McCartney concert, a woman from La Puente had his name tattooed on her back.

On Wednesday night, in the middle of the first concert of his world tour in Fresno, McCartney invited Lisa Carerra, her son Jude, and two daughters onstage.

He did so after they held up signs, one of which said, "Mom named me Jude cause of you. Please sign her."

And so he did.

It's a moment and a signature the 51-year-old middle school principal never wants to forget.

On Thursday, after her school board meeting, she did what almost any woman would do: she had it sealed in ink.

And Carerra isn't alone: her kids got tattoos as well.

"Sir Paul, it was surreal," she said. "I have been a fan forever and always imagined what it would be like to meet him or just have an opportunity like that and it was everything I dreamed of and more."
