Disney Channel Star Debby Ryan Reportedly Arrested For DUI

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Disney Channel star Debby Ryan was reportedly arrested in the Hollywood area for allegedly driving drunk after colliding with another car.

Ryan, 22, who plays Jessie Prescott on the Disney show "Jessie," was driving near La Brea Avenue and 3rd Street just after 7 p.m. April 5 when she crashed into a Mercedes Benz, according to Los Angeles police.

Police conducted a field sobriety test and Ryan's blood alcohol level allegedly tested at 0.11 percent which is above the legal limit, the Los Angeles Times reported.

A person in the other car was injured and Ryan was booked on suspicion of a DUI causing bodily injury, according to The Times.

While prosecutors have not filed a felony charge, the City Attorney's office filed two misdemeanor charges against her.

Ryan posted $100,000 bail and was released on April 6.

She is scheduled to appear in court on May 2 for her arraignment, according to the newspaper.
