Whoopi Goldberg Launches Medical Cannabis Products That Aim To Offer Relief From Cramps

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Whoopi Goldberg is launching a line of medical cannabis-based products she claims will tame debilitating cramps.

The Oscar-winning actress has co-founded a company that makes a line of medical cannabis products designed to offer relief from menstrual discomfort.

Among the products are bath salts, body balms, tinctures, and oils.

Goldberg says she's struggled with severe cramps most of her life as do her daughter and granddaughter.

She says medical marijuana helped her and believes it will help other women as well.

The new line is called "Whoopi & Maya" and will only be sold in California.
