High Wind Warning Issued In LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Possible damaging winds will affect portions of Southern California, meteorologists said Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, a high wind warning will remain in effect from 10 a.m. until 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Gusts will increase between 30 to 40 miles per hour, reaching up to 60 miles per hour by Monday afternoon.

Powerful winds can make driving difficult, especially for drivers of high profile vehicles and those towing trailers, forecasters said.

Visibility could lower to near zero at times due to blowing dust and sand.

Gusts may down trees and power lines and cause property damage.
